Terms of Use

1. Who can use SkedClean

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use SkedClean for a company, you confirm you have authority to act for it.

2. Your account

Give accurate information and keep your password secret. You are responsible for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at skedclean@gmail.com if you think your account was accessed without your permission.

Company owners decide who gets access (helpers, managers, clients) and with what permissions, and are responsible for the people they invite.

3. What SkedClean does and does not do

SkedClean helps cleaning companies organize schedules, teams, clients, homes, messages, time records, invoices, maps and reports.

SkedClean is a software tool. It does not provide legal, tax, accounting or employment advice. Invoices, reports and totals are records generated from the information entered; the company is responsible for checking them and for its own taxes, payroll and records.

SkedClean does not process payments between companies and their clients. Payments happen outside the app (for example by Zelle, Venmo, cash or check), unless we say otherwise.

4. Company responsibilities

Cleaning companies using SkedClean are responsible for their own business and for complying with laws that apply to them, including labor and employment laws, tax laws, and consumer and privacy laws.

In particular, the company is responsible for: having the right to enter its clients' and helpers' information; giving helpers any notice or obtaining any consent required for location tracking or electronic monitoring; getting permission before sending text messages or emails to clients and honoring opt-outs; and the accuracy of prices, schedules and messages it sends.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app: no unlawful, harmful, fraudulent or abusive activity; no attempts to access other companies' data or to break, probe or overload the service; no sending spam; no uploading content you do not have the right to share or that is illegal; no reverse engineering except where the law allows.

Do not use the location features to follow anyone without their knowledge or outside the scope of their work.

6. Your content and data

You keep ownership of the information you enter ("Your Content"). You give us permission to host, process and display it solely to operate and improve the app for you, as described in the Privacy Policy.

You can export or delete your information as the app allows, and you can delete your account at any time in the app.

7. Free trial, plans and fees

New companies may get a free trial. Paid plans, prices and billing terms will be shown before you are charged, and you can cancel before the trial ends to avoid charges. If you subscribe through an app store, that store's billing terms also apply.

We may change plans or prices going forward with advance notice.

8. Availability and changes

We work to keep SkedClean available but do not promise it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. We may add, change or remove features. Back up information you cannot afford to lose.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using SkedClean and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by law. When an account ends, your information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Disclaimers

SkedClean is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Maps, distances, addresses and location data may be inaccurate.

11. Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from your use of SkedClean. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or US$100. Some places do not allow some of these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

12. Indemnity

If your use of SkedClean or Your Content violates these Terms or the law, or harms others, you agree to cover reasonable losses and costs we incur because of it, to the extent the law allows.

13. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable U.S. federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in New Jersey will handle disputes, unless the law requires otherwise. Before filing a claim, please contact us at skedclean@gmail.com so we can try to resolve it informally.

14. Changes to these Terms; contact

We may update these Terms. We will post the new version with a new date and, for important changes, notify you in the app. If you keep using SkedClean after changes take effect, you accept them.
